If you\u2019re a veteran or active duty service member, you might have questions about how to best approach earning your Master of Business Administration degree and what resources are available to you at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga (UTC). At UTC, we strive to make sure that our active duty service members and veterans feel welcome and are provided with the very best resources we have to offer. We have helped many veterans and active duty service members to successfully complete their 100% Online MBA or Flexible MBA<\/a> degree and grow both academically and professionally.<\/p>\n

At the Gary W. Rollins College of Business, our veteran and active duty students choose to earn an MBA degree for a variety of reasons. Regardless of why you decide to go this route, earning your MBA has a wide range of benefits. Showcasing an MBA degree on your resume is indicative of your ability to work as a leader and manager. Alumni from our program have transitioned to civilian job opportunities, secured promotions within their careers, made successful career shifts, and achieved salary increases. Additionally, UTC MBA students have been able to broaden their networks significantly by working closely with their classmates, faculty, staff, and University career professionals. \u00a0Active duty?\u00a0 Earn your MBA from a fully AACSB accredited program<\/a> while living and serving from anywhere.<\/p>\n

Earning your MBA is a big step in furthering your career. As a veteran or active duty service member, it\u2019s important, but sometimes difficult, to understand the educational benefits that are available to you. The UTC Veteran Student Services<\/a> office is dedicated to aiding our veterans and active duty service members in a variety of ways, ranging from understanding how to fund your education to providing you with helpful on-campus spaces and resources. For example, the Veteran Student Services office at UTC works to help students in identifying scholarship opportunities, such as the Yellow Ribbon Program<\/a> and a wide variety of Veteran and Military-Connected Scholarships<\/a>. They can also guide you and answer your questions as you explore your Education and Training Benefits<\/a> and eligibility for Federal Military Tuition Assistance<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As an MBA student, you will undoubtedly need access to spaces that foster academic excellence. Several spaces on campus have been specifically designed for our veterans and active duty service members, such as the Veteran Student Lounge<\/a> and the Veteran Student Services Computer Lab<\/a>. Both of these spaces have been put in place to aid students in balancing their studies and encourage scholarly excellence. Additionally, many services on campus are readily available to aid students as they progress through their programs including our Dean of Students<\/a>, Disability Resource Center<\/a>, and Counseling Center<\/a>, all of which work to assist students through every season of their academic career. Specific resources for students in the Gary W. Rollins College of Business include our Veteran Entrepreneurship Program<\/a>, which prepares veterans to build their own businesses, and our Career Development services<\/a>, which provide career-building assistance to business students.<\/p>\n
