Fall 2024 Orientation Save the Date PDF<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am reaching out with information about next summer\u2019s orientation dates for students entering Fall 2024. \u00a0 The freshman orientation experience is moving to a 1-day session with no overnight component. This is a significant change in how we have traditionally hosted orientation for freshmen. This decision was made based on student orientation surveys, national orientation trends and upcoming space and logistic changes on our campus. I want to ensure our campus that we will continue to offer a robust and comprehensive orientation experience that will properly onboard all of our new students to UTC.<\/p>\n

We are developing a pre-orientation component that will include online modules to acquaint our new students on UTC\u2019s resources and services. We anticipate that the pre-orientation modules will be available at the beginning of May and our students will be required to complete the modules before they attend their orientation session. \u00a0Parents and guests will have the option to view the modules as well. \u00a0We will use our in-person and day of sessions to provide more in-depth information to students and guests. We feel confident that our new students, parents and supporters are going to get the same essential content that they always have but in a more dynamic and timely method! \u00a0Registration for Fall 2024 orientation will open on January 20th<\/sup> and students can register through our website: www.utc.edu\/orientation<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Over the coming weeks and months I will be in touch to schedule info meetings with offices and departments that are involved with orientation and the new pre-orientation modules.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, I have attached a printable brochure that lists the Fall 2024 Orientation dates. We also have printed copies available in the Orientation Office-UC 102.<\/p>\n
