Greetings campus community!\u00a0 I would like to make you aware of some construction activities that you may encounter on campus this semester.<\/p>\n
Pedestrian Way Between ARC and 5th<\/sup> Street Garage:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n The pedestrian path between the ARC and the 5th<\/sup> Street Garage will be closed soon for upgrades to our campus electrical distribution system.\u00a0 The upgrades are needed to improve reliability and redundancy.\u00a0 The work is expected to be completed by the end of next summer.\u00a0 Signage directing pedestrians to alternate paths will be installed.<\/p>\n University Center Renovation:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n A project to renovate much of the University Center will begin soon.\u00a0 The project will be phased to minimize the impact on the campus community. \u00a0\u00a0Directional signage will be installed to assist with wayfinding during construction.<\/p>\n Brock Hall Renovation:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n A project is underway to renovate Brock Hall.\u00a0 The building will be offline until the fall semester of 2025.<\/p>\n 540 McCallie (CSOB) Renovation:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n A project to renovate much of the 540 Bldg. will begin soon.\u00a0 The project will replace critical building envelope features (roof, windows, etc.), replace building systems (i.e. HVAC, electrical, elevators, plumbing, etc.), and renovate some interior spaces.<\/p>\n
