The new licenses will provide improved security for UTC computers and Microsoft online applications, including your email account.&nbsp;For more information on the security changes,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/utc.teamdynamix.com\/TDClient\/2717\/Portal\/KB\/ArticleDet?ID=147660\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">click here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Effective Tuesday, August 16, 2022, Information Technology will be moving all UTC computers to Microsoft Defender, the built-in antivirus and malware protection for Windows. IT is also working on developing a Mac installation of Microsoft Defender which will be installed on UTC Macs in the upcoming weeks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any Malwarebytes clients currently managed by UTC, including most university-owned Windows and Mac computers, will be removed on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, starting at 5:00 p.m. Once complete, you may need to reboot your computer.
