If any of your friends or colleagues with a Master\u2019s degree (or higher) from a regionally accredited institution are interested in pursuing their terminal degree in leadership at UTC, we encourage them to apply or to reach out for more information. Due to the cohort nature of the programs, applications are typically accepted December through February for each incoming Summer cohort. New cohorts are admitted in Summer only. All application materials, including official transcripts and recommendations, must be submitted by\u00a0<strong><em>February 28, 2025.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Two separate doctoral degree designations (PhD &amp; EdD) are currently offered. Minimum admission qualifications, application requirements, and step-by-step application instructions are provided on the PhD &amp; EdD program websites (links provided below).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.utc.edu\/health-education-and-professional-studies\/school-of-professional-studies\/learning-and-leadership\/ldm\"><strong>Leadership and Decision-Making (PhD)<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<strong><em>Hybrid delivery<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>One initial Summer foundational course offered via hybrid delivery, i.e., two synchronous face-to-face meetings on the UT-Chattanooga campus and material work online; all remaining core coursework for the PhD is delivered via hybrid delivery \u2013 typically 4-6 synchronous face-to-face meetings on the UT-Chattanooga campus each semester and material work online<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.utc.edu\/health-education-and-professional-studies\/school-of-professional-studies\/learning-and-leadership\/lip\"><strong>Leadership and Professional Practice (EdD)<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<strong><em>Primarily Internet delivery<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>One initial Summer foundational course offered via hybrid delivery, i.e., two synchronous face-to-face meetings on the UT-Chattanooga campus and material work online; all remaining core coursework for the EdD is delivered online, with occasional synchronous meetings with faculty<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We routinely schedule Zoom meetings with the LEAD Programs Advisor to determine whether our doctoral programs are a good \u201cfit\u201d for prospective applicants\u2019 specific academic and professional goals.
