Located off the UC Foundation Apartments courtyard (Suite 5217), the center is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The phone number is 423-680-5595.<\/p>\n<p>This collaboration supports UTC\u2019s holistic approach to well-being, recognizing that mental and emotional health are central to the success of our students, faculty and staff alike. By partnering with Parkridge Health System, we are creating an accessible, compassionate resource designed to strengthen our entire campus community.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership between UTC and Parkridge has been several years in the making and reflects a shared commitment to holistic campus wellness. The Parkridge Mental Health Therapy Center extends the services already available through the UTC Counseling Center by providing a higher level of care for those who may need more frequent or longer-term therapy. It also offers evening and Sunday hours, expanding access to care beyond the traditional workday.<\/p>\n<p>Therapists at the Parkridge Mental Health Therapy Center support treatment for a wide range of mental and emotional health needs\u2014including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma and life transitions. They are committed to helping members of our campus community find care close to where they live, learn, work and study.<\/p>\n<p>For students, the center serves as an additional resource when needs go beyond the short-term counseling or crisis intervention available through the UTC Counseling Center. Counselors can coordinate directly with Parkridge clinicians to ensure continuity of care and comprehensive student support.<\/p>\n<p>For faculty and staff, the center offers a convenient, confidential option for professional counseling on campus. Employees can contact the center directly to schedule appointments.<\/p>\n<p>Parkridge accepts most insurance plans and is committed to making care affordable for anyone who seeks support.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.utc.edu\/enrollment-management-and-student-affairs\/counseling-center\"><strong>UTC Counseling Center webpage<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the UTC community is invited to a ribbon-cutting celebration at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 27, in the UC Foundation Apartments courtyard to mark the center\u2019s official opening.
