UPDATED Application for Honors Seminar Proposals 2022-2023<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dear Colleagues,<\/p>\n

The Honors College invites full-time faculty members from all colleges to submit proposals for special-topics general education seminars to be taught in the 2023\u20132024 academic year. We\u2019re asking for your \u201cdream courses,\u201d classes you\u2019ve always thought would engage and transform students, but that may not fit easily in a departmental program. Please see the attached call\/application for more information about honors seminars and the application process.<\/p>\n

We are piloting a new fillable PDF application form this year. If you have trouble navigating the attached form, please let me know and I will send you a Word version. You are also free to answer the application questions in a separate document (though our hope is that the new application form will make life easier, not harder!).<\/p>\n

We are currently requesting applications for the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters. The deadline for the first round of consideration is November 1st<\/sup> <\/strong>(we will put out a second call for Spring 2024 proposals in a few months).<\/p>\n

Please let me know if you have any questions about teaching in the Honors College or if you would like to chat about possible course topics in the weeks ahead. I\u2019m committed to growing our faculty, and I\u2019m eager to hear your teaching ideas!<\/p>\n
