Going to Barcelona , Spain was the best choice that I could have made and I will never regret it. I learned many things while I was staying in Barcelona. The best part of my study abroad was meeting and making friends from all over the United States and the world. Having the opportunity to stay in Barcelona and navigating the beautiful city that had so much to offer was incredible. However, there might be times where you feel overwhelmed by your surroundings. For example, if you are used to getting things done quickly, it won\u2019t be the same in Barcelona. Also, the traffic can be very crazy.<\/p>\n

Barcelona people focus more on building relationships with your household and co-workers. They take one hour to eat and talking about anything in order to get to know each other better. Social media is prohibited during this time.<\/p>\n

If you are an ice cream lover, this is the place for you to visit. I cannot even name all the flavors of ice cream they had in Barcelona. For those people who love coffee, you will love this place because in restaurants they serve coffee in the morning, afternoon, and evening.<\/p>\n

There are so many options to choose from when it comes to food, but do not expect the food to be a lot. They eat very small portions and also dinner time is very late for those people who are used to eating at 6 pm. Some advice I would give to students who want to study in Barcelona is do not order water in restaurants because you will be very surprised how much you pay for the water. There is no such thing as free water in Barcelona. Be prepared to try weird food because it could turn out to be the best food you have ever tasted.<\/p>\n

In Barcelona, there are is so much to do and you will never get enough of it. Remember that museums are free on Sundays. Therefore, make sure you visit all the museums there. Barcelona also has the best building architecture to observe,\u00a0 especially Sagra La Familia.<\/p>\n
