Many of you have expressed your worries over the recent Executive Order on immigration, and we continue to work to understand the implications of this order and its changing application.<\/p>\n
Our top priority has to be the safety and well-being of the campus community. We are committed to a diverse campus and to preparing students for success in a global economy. That means recruiting, retaining, and supporting faculty, staff, and students from different cultures around the world.<\/p>\n
If you have questions or concerns about your individual situation or international travel plans, I encourage you to contact our Center for Global Education in 202 Hooper Hall, (423) 425-4348. We are offering our support and assistance to campus community members, especially those from the seven countries named in the order.<\/p>\n
