I am a Studio Art major with a background in animation and cartooning. I created my entry because vaccination is an extremely important<\/p>\n

issue to me, even outside of COVID-19. I wanted to make something that, while it may not present the cold hard facts of the safety and efficacy of the vaccines, is fun and cute and encourages people to get their shot!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Thank you, everyone, who submitted an entry to our COVID-19 Confidence Promotion Competition and Showcase.<\/p>\n

Make the Call
\nBy Annalise (AJ) Kelley<\/em><\/p>\n

People, people listen, listen to the words of those who know and care!
\nThe vaccine is not a government scam, it is a solution that doctors want to make aware.
\nDespite the newness, the vaccine has been influenced by decades of science.
\nIf not anything, it is a cure that should not be so harshly silenced.
\nThrough the clear and careful process of intensive testing.
\nThis vaccine is far from what the media is suggesting.
\nThe vaccination dampens the immediate spread of the virus.
\nAnd yet, the majority of the US seems non-desirous.
\nSome would argue that the virus does not have an effect.
\nAnd yet people are dying, show some respect!
\n\u201cWell, covid does not affect some people.\u201d
\nThis does not mean that it is not to others, lethal.
\nWhy ignore the warnings of doctors and nurses?
\nWhy continue to threaten the lives of other persons?
\nThe occurrence of Delta has caused more infections.
\nIt\u2019s sad that lives are less valued than US elections.
\nIf only media focused on this sifting sand clock.
\nMore so than the novel virus called Tik Tok.
\nWith this Delta, the virus speeds downwards faster.
\nDangerously sending humanity into deeper disaster.
\nMany argue that it fails at preventing covid.
\nHowever, the quick recovery through the vaccine is noted.
\nWith the use of the mask and vaccine, the risk is small.
\nSo please stop, listen, save a life, make the call.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
