It also has CRER director Howard Wall discussing the general health of the local economy as it pertains to the retail sector going forward. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Wall anticipates that the area\u2019s retail economy will hold up its end, with sales likely to ‘continue to grow through the year.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Retail employment is a bit trickier,’ he adds, ‘but has been growing even as things have slowed a bit generally. \u2026 My sense is that retailers are still adjusting to recent growth in Chattanooga and are adding stores and jobs where needed.'”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
