ChaTch announces the winners of their 2019 ChaTech Scholarship Awards and 11 of them are students from UTC.<\/p>\n

The UTC students selected to receive $1,000 ChaTech Scholars awards are: <\/strong><\/p>\n

\n5.\tDakila Ledesma
\n6.\tDaniel Stephen Mailman
\n7.\tGrace Nansamba

\n9.\tArielle Nord
\n10.\tEmily Thomas
\n11.\tPeter Devin Way*<\/p>\n

*For the first time, ChaTech awarded a $500 bonus to the top 3 students as rated by the selection committee. Peter Way was in that group, therefore he will receive a $1,500 scholarship.<\/p>\n

CHATECH PRESS RELEASE<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Chattanooga Technology Council (ChaTech) is excited to announce 45 applications were submitted for 2019 ChaTech Scholarship Awards, and 21 college students have been selected to receive $1,000 to $1,500 in scholarships. Thanks to a generous grant by Volkswagen Chattanooga, individual donations and support from the 2018 CxO Auction and a contribution from Chattanooga\u2019s DevOpsDay conference, ChaTech will award total of $22,500 in scholarships. The scholarship recipients will be honored at the June Connect event on June 12 at Volkswagen Chattanooga.<\/p>\n
