His areas of expertise include operations and supply chain management, transportation logistics, quality control, and engineering management.\u00a0 Dr. McLean was hired as\u00a0a part of the expansion of the Engineering Management and Construction Management programs\u00a0in the College, and has served as advisor to both the student chapter of the Associated General Contractors and the Engineering Management Club.\u00a0 He recently facilitated a panel discussion attended by CECS students and the public.\u00a0 The event focused on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ems7Iq6pg6Q\">Workforce Readiness as part of the College\u2019s Speaker Series, and featured presentations by three outstanding CECS alumni<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. McLean\u2019s College and University-wide service entails a wide range of commitments including work as a member of the ABET Task Force, CECS Undergraduate Curriculum Committee, University Graduate Council, Faculty Senate, and International Studies Committee, to name a few.\u00a0 In addition, his community service involvements include work with the Enterprise Center, the City of Chattanooga, and the Erlanger Medical Center.
