Dr. Susan Eckelmann Berghel<\/a> is Assistant Professor of History<\/a> and Director of Africana Studies<\/a> at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga.<\/p>\n

She is the coeditor of Growing Up America: Youth and Politics since 1945<\/em><\/a> with Paul Renfro and Sara Fieldston (UGA, 2019).<\/p>\n

Eckelmann Berghel\u2019s writing has also appeared in the Journal of the History of Childhood and Youth<\/em>, The Public Historian<\/em>, and other publications.<\/p>\n
