More than 40 million Kurds live in Kurdistan, a land occupied and divided by f our countries. Victims of genocide under Saddam Hussein in Iraq, they are more recently known for their female fighting units in Iraq and Syria. But who are the Kurds? Where is Kurdistan?<\/p>\n
