The History Department cordially invites you to submit an entry to the Annual History\u00a0<\/span>Button<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Contest!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0<\/span>button<\/span> will be worn by you, history majors, to show pride on and off the UTC campus. <\/span><\/p>\n

The History Department faculty will decide on\u00a0one\u00a0or multiple\u00a0winners,\u00a0who will receive a prize.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>If you have any ideas, please submit an entry!\u00a0We would like your input in promoting the history program.\u00a0This activity can help with resume building as well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Qualification<\/span>: The designer must be a current history major.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Deadline<\/span>: February 28, 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Guidelines<\/span>\u00a0for participating in the\u00a0<\/span>contest<\/span>:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

1.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>The\u00a0<\/span>button<\/span>\u00a0should include a historical image that embodies 1) the spirit of the history discipline, and\/or 2) the importance of studying history.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

2.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Make sure the image and the text are visible on a 2\u201d x 2\u201d\u00a0<\/span>button<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
