UTC’s Africana Studies Program welcomes Professor Molefi Kete Asante to campus for a talk titled “Africans in America: A Journey of Liberation.”<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

UTC’s Africana Studies Program, together with the Department of History, the Department of Political Science and Public Service, and the Division of Access and Engagement are very excited to present “An Evening with Professor Molefi Kete Asante” on Thursday, February 13. Dr. Asante is Professor of Africology at Temple University and President of The Molefi Kete Asante Institute for Afrocentric Studies in Philadelphia. His talk, titled “Africans in America: A Journey of Liberation,” will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the University Center Auditorium (Room 206). This event is free and open to the public<\/em><\/strong>, so please join us on Thursday, February 13! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
