opportunity to participate in a variety of internships that take history beyond the classroom.\u00a0 In <strong>HIST 4920: Internships in History<\/strong>, students can earn academic credit while interning at some of the region&#8217;s outstanding historical and community institutions.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.utc.edu\/history\/students\/internships.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">internship opportunities available through the HIST 4920 course for the Spring 2018 semester<\/a>\u00a0have now been posted on the History Department website.\u00a0 You can also\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:Michael-D-Thompson@utc.edu?subject=History%20Internship\">contact<\/a>\u00a0the History Department&#8217;s internships coordinator,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.utc.edu\/history\/profiles\/faculty\/ngy698.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr. Michael Thompson<\/a>, for more information.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/blogarchive.utc.edu\/history\/2017\/09\/26\/internships-information-session\/\">Internships Information Session<\/a> the Department held at the end of September was also a big hit,
