The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga has been awarded a $2.4 million federal grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration to strengthen the behavioral health workforce in 11 underserved counties across Southeast Tennessee. This four‑year initiative, called B‑HIP (Behavioral Healthcare through InterProfessional Training), will fund 12 graduate students annually in counseling, psychology, social work, and school psychology.
