Maintenance was completed late Friday night and all systems are expected to functioning normally. If you experience any issues, please contact us at https://ithelp.utc.edu.
Status Update at 12:30a.m: General system and network maintenance is expected to be completed by 3:00am. You may see a brief interruption in services until then as servers are restarted.
Status Update at 9:24p.m: Maintenance has been completed for Drupal (www.utc.edu) and its services have been restored.
Status Update at 8:07p.m: Maintenance is underway for the Drupal public website and general system maintenance.
Maintenance Announcement
Information Technology will be performing scheduled maintenance on Friday, September 26 beginning at 5:30 p.m. All maintenance is expected to be complete by 6:00 a.m. the following Saturday, September 27.
What to expect:
An interruption of all IT services, hosted by UTC, is possible during the maintenance window. For status updates, please visit https://www.utc.edu/itstatus.
Affected Services:
- General System Maintenance: All IT services could see an interruption of services as systems are restarted during our routine server maintenance between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Services utilized for classes will be scheduled for maintenance after 8:00 pm.
- UTC Website: Work on Drupal services for the main public website, www.utc.edu, will begin at 8:00 p.m and is expected to be complete by late Friday night. During the maintenance, users may experience a brief period of intermittent website outages.
- Network Maintenance: Scheduled network maintenance in specific buildings is planned for Friday evening to replace infrastructure equipment.
- 540 McCallie will see a brief outage on the 4th floor after 5:30 p.m.
- The University Center will have extended network outages after 8:00 p.m.
