There was an incident with a patron trapped in one of the elevators tonight, so at the dean’s direction we have closed off and posted the two public elevators. We’ve placed obstacles in front of the doors on all floors, so please don’t remove them until directed to do so by the dean’s office. Anna will be doing a follow up with the elevator company in the morning to assure the elevators are safe for public use. Please direct patrons to use the stairs until Theresa gives the okay for the elevators to be back in use.
