We\u2019re shifting our WordPress Alerts blog from the library server to the campus server.<\/p>\n
What this means:
\nThe old URL was: http:\/\/blog.lib.utc.edu\/alerts\/.
\nThe new URL is: https:\/\/blogarchive.utc.edu\/library-alerts\/.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve already created the new pages & sets of sidebar links, so that they mirror the old blog. I included some core CMS links in the top menu bar\u2026 & an extra special link I\u2019ll rotate every Monday. I do not apologize for this week\u2019s link.<\/p>\n
Next steps:
\n– Some of you already have accounts set-up in the new blog. The list of those who don\u2019t is below. You will soon see an email from WordPress confirming your new account. Click the link in that email to confirm.
\n– We will log in via CAS for this new blog. This means your new WordPress account syncs up with your UTC ID and password.
\n– The login for the new site lives in the right-hand sidebar, under \u201cMeta\u201d.
\n– Update your personal and public service desk bookmark links.
\n– We will come around tomorrow & Thursday (if necessary) and update the RSS feeds in the Growl software that\u2019s running on the machines.<\/p>\n
If you have any problems logging in, let me know immediately. I will be sending out the invites for the following list now, before I leave for work:<\/p>\n

Once I\u2019ve confirmed everyone is active, can log-in & Growl has been updated, I\u2019ll archive the old site, but keep the server running.
