The Outreach Committee has put together an online search challenge for students that has a Star Wars theme and includes questions that require both Primo searching skills (yay Primo) and Google skills as well. We hope to launch it to the campus later this week – so this blog post is an official heads up that this is coming.<\/p>\n

The search challenge is only 8 questions long and shouldn\u2019t require any intervention or assistance from Library staff. It is done entirely online and can be accessed from any desktop, laptop or mobile device. All students will need in order to play is the URL –\u00a0 which is included below and will also be shared via social media. There will also be an ad on the digital signage announcing the search challenge.<\/p>\n

Students who play the game will be notified at the end that they can stop by the Checkout Desk and get a Star Wars-themed button as a prize. (We\u2019ll bring down a container of C3PO buttons for Checkout staff to give out before we launch it).<\/p>\n

Please feel free to go through and try the game yourself. We\u2019ve tested it among ourselves in Outreach and have edited the questions and clues for clarity, but your feedback and testing would be helpful prior to sharing it with campus. If you do come across problems please let me know and we\u2019ll take a look, see if we can clarify or fix, etc.<\/p>\n
