Just an FYI:\u00a0 We are removing the table on 1st floor nearest the card\/CBORD machine. We’ve repeatedly had issues with patrons unplugging the machine in order to plug in laptops while at that table. So in an attempt to remove temptation, and solve a different issue at the same time, we are relocating the two rocking chairs that sit in the window by the computer banks over to the New Book\/Newspaper area. Then we will push the table over to the window area closer to the computers.\u00a0 We are down to about two unbroken rockers in our “cosy seating” area and it looks pretty stark, so two additional rockers should fill it back out.\u00a0 If you are working the Circ or Reference desk and you see patrons trying to push this table back to within plug distance of the card machine, please stop them.\u00a0 While I doubt it damages CBORD for it to be plugged and unplugged, it is not a good thing for patrons to feel free to interfere with our equipment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
