We’ve placed a half cart over by the front of the dvds ranges to provide a place for patrons to return movies that they have viewed or browsed within the building rather than checked out. The hope is that patrons will place the items there instead of dropping them on the featured dvd display shelf, the reference carts,\u00a0 or reshelving the item for us. There is a sign on the cart to encourage patrons to place viewed items there, but please do encourage them to do so if a patron asks what to do with a movie they have just used in-house. There’s a fair amount of this in the evening, but it may not come up much during the daytime. We just wanted to alert folks to the location of the cart.
