If you are using the staff lounge late in the day, please be sure the door locks behind you. Night staff does not always use the staff room so an unlocked door may go undetected for some hours before it is caught by a student worker touring the floor. Industrious students or student groups are not shy about entering an unlocked darkened room in the library if they feel it might provide them a good study space! The staff lounge was found unlocked last night late in the evening as we were shorthanded on the floors. No items appeared to be missing and or in use by students at that time, but that might have just been sheer luck.
