We have gathered enough movies to do a DVD display for Domestic Abuse Awareness Month which is October. In cooperation with the Women’s Center and the Transformation Project on campus our goal is to keep this display stocked with feature films whose characters are in some way affected by this issue.\u00a0 A number of the more obvious titles (The Color Purple, Sling Blade, Monster, Monster’s Ball) are all currently checked out or long overdue and unfortunately many more that come to mind we do not own.\u00a0\u00a0 However,\u00a0 if you think of any titles (VHS not advised) we own that should be considered please drop me an email or mention it to someone at the circ desk and we can add it to our watchlist.
