We had a patron complain tonight that she was stuck in the elevator for several minutes before the doors finally opened. After consultation with Colleen, I have placed alerts on the elevator doors (left hand side) to inform patrons that there may be issues. We cannot lock down the elevators ourselves but with late night hours this week the last thing we want is some poor student stuck inside a elevator cab for any length of time. All we can do is advise them to avoid using the doubtful side. Some patrons have continued to use it despite the postings.
