You will likely encounter an EZ Proxy error when you try to access an open access journal article via Get It. The problem is that Gold Rush can only be set up to wrap our proxy around all URL’s or not. So it’s all or nothing. This works fine for our subscription resources but causes problems with open access ones that do not need to go through the proxy.<\/p>\n

If you click on the article link (under the green banner) you will get an EZ Proxy error. There are two ways to access the article: either remove the EZ Proxy prefix (http:\/\/proxy.lib.utc.edu\/login?url=) from the article’s URL or click on the journal link under the yellow banner on the Get It menu.<\/p>\n
At this point there is no immediate fix since it’s an enhancement that Gold Rush needs to make on their end.<\/p>\n
