As of about 6pm tonight we are not able to connect to the internet using the laptops. Students using the computer stations seem to be fine so perhaps it is the campus wireless. For now we are advising patrons who want laptops that they may be restricted to non-internet activities and that if they want to use online systems they would be better served to use a computer terminal on the 1st or 2nd floor. Heather has reported the problem to Lane who has sent it up the chain. We’ve not gotten an email from university IT about the issue so it might be local, but students have complained that even their personal laptops will not connect in the library.
