Just so everyone is aware, OCLC is scheduling maintenance to all of their systems during the regular maintenance window from 3AM to 6AM, early Sunday, morning, November 18. They do not expect any major outages, but the message does seem to indicate that sporadic and short outages with particular services will occur.<\/p>\n
Because this maintenance touches all services from OCLC\u2014I wanted you all to be aware of this maintenance and prepare for any possible lingering problems on Monday morning.<\/p>\n
Here are our major systems that will be impacted:<\/p>\n
-WMS (Circ, Acq) and FTP Services for reporting\/billing<\/p>\n
-WorldCat Local and WorldCat.org<\/p>\n
-Connexion<\/p>\n
-FirstSearch and other OCLC Databases (WorldCat, CAMIO, ArchivesGrid)<\/p>\n
-CONTENTdm<\/p>\n
-Illiad<\/p>\n
-OCLC Stat, including Collection Analysis<\/p>\n
-WorldCat Service Configuration (Knowledge Base, WC Registry, etc\u2026)<\/p>\n
