Around 6:15pm a patron on crutches was trapped in the right side public elevator. Security, UTC police,<\/p>\n
and Fire responded. The episode lasted aproximately 45 minutes during which time I requested<\/p>\n
that UTC Police contact dispatch to request elevator service personnel on call. The patron was eventually freed from the elevator, police and fire left and said the elevator repairman would arrive inside of an hour (which he did).<\/p>\n
After routing some information to the repairman, he completed his check of the elevator and left. We can only assume from his removal of the signs and the blocking trash cans that the elevator is now fit for use.<\/p>\n
