(Human-Animal Bond in Tennessee) program are bringing\u00a0a\u00a0therapy dog for\u00a0visits.<\/p>\n<p>Research shows the benefits of spending time with an animal \u2013 even a short visit has positive effects \u2013 and the UTC Library wants to help give you these benefits this semester.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Monday, February 9, 5:30 to 6:30pm<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students, faculty and staff are all invited to meet our furry guest!<\/p>\n<p>As always, the certified therapy dog will be accompanied by a trained handler. \u00a0And if you prefer not to be near the dog for any reason, simply avoid the\u00a0dedicated section of the first floor of the library \u2013 an alcove by the Chamberlain pavilion windows on the first floor (turn right as you enter through the Chamberlain doors and follow the signs).<\/p>\n<p>For more information on the H.A.B.I.T. program, visit the UT site at \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vet.utk.edu\/habit\/index.php\">http:\/\/www.vet.utk.edu\/habit\/index.php<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our\u00a0therapy dog friend is coming for another visit to the UTC Library!
