Fall 2019 Works-in-Progress Event<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Middle Tennessee State University\u2019s annual Peck Symposium on Rhetoric and Writing will return in person this Fall as a ‘Works-in-Progress’ meeting. Please join us Friday, September 30 in the MT Center at MTSU in Murfreesboro, TN. This event also serves as an opportunity to join Midsouth WPA (for free)! Please RSVP before August 30th!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event brings together graduate students, faculty, and administrators from across the region to discuss their work-in-progress in a low-stakes and supportive environment. For the last two years, we\u2019ve hosted our Peck Symposium as a community writing project, and we are excited to rejoin in-person this year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be two sessions. In the morning, self-selected participants will share their ongoing work in a series of brief presentations to the larger group. In the afternoon, participants will workshop in-process projects in small groups at tables. We will close with a meeting of Midsouth WPA, in which participants can share localized ideas and concerns and brainstorm solutions with regional partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
