Warpinski awarded North Callahan Essay Prize
Joseph Warpinski, an economics major with a dual minor of business administration and history, has won the 2013 North Callahan Essay Prize for his submission “The Overextension of the British Empire and its Subsequent Demise.” Warpinski received a $1,000 cash prize. To read the essay, click here.
Vital, Fuller inducted into UTC Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame
Two local businessmen whose love of business began in childhood, Greg Vital and Max Fuller, were recently inducted into the UTC Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame.

Concert to celebrate Roland Carter’s retirement on April 19
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s Music Department in conjunction with UTC’s Chancellor’s Office and Development office will present a Gala Concert celebrating Roland Carter’s career and honoring his retirement on Friday, April 19th, at 7:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church at 401 Gateway Avenue in Chattanooga.
