For the second year in a row, a student at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga has been recognized in a national competition known as the Pulitzer Prize for collegiate journalism. Jules Jackson, a double major in art and communications, placed 19th in the 2022-23 Hearst Multimedia Narrative Storytelling Competition.

The College of Arts and Sciences launched five new residential learning communities (RLCs) in fall 2022. These are living/learning communities made up of students with similar interests or areas of study. The goal is to speed up the process of forging a community while away at college.

TRIO Day event brings high school students from across Tennessee to UTC
TRIO programs, which have been part of the UTC campus for more than 50 years, are federal outreach systems designed to identify and provide services for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
