This year, 194 UTC employees were honored during the UTC Service Awards Annual Luncheon on Tuesday, Sept. 16, a signature event of Founder’s Week. Service awards are presented in five-year increments, beginning with an employee’s fifth year of regular service, and highlight the value of employee contributions while reinforcing UTC’s culture of appreciation and retention.

UTC’s Rahul R. Bhosale becomes first chemical engineering professor from Tennessee to receive early-career NSF ERI award
Guerry Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering Rahul R. Bhosale has become the first chemical engineering professor from both the state of Tennessee and UTC to be awarded the highly competitive National Science Foundation (NSF) Engineering Research Initiation (ERI) Award.
UTC engineering prof wins prestigious NSF CAREER award
While Dr. Hamdy Ibrahim’s career is considered to be in its early stages today, the National Science Foundation has just cast a big vote of confidence in its future. Ibrahim, a UTC assistant professor of mechanical engineering, is the recipient of a CAREER award from the NSF Faculty Early Career Development Program.
