Attendees in need of accommodations are invited to contact UTC&#8217;s Disability Resource Center at 423-425-4006.<\/p>\n<p>Berry earned his Ph.D. in American History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2000, and is a specialist in\u00a0the history of the Civil War, the American South, southern masculinity, and the Lincoln and Todd families. \u00a0He currently serves as the\u00a0Gregory Chair in the Civil War Era and Co-Director of the Center for Virtual History at the University of Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to nearly a dozen articles, book chapters, and reviews, Berry has authored four books, including<i>\u00a0House of Abraham: Lincoln &amp; the Todds, a Family Divided by War\u00a0<\/i>(Houghton Mifflin, 2007) and the edited collection\u00a0<i>Weirding the War: Stories from the Civil War&#8217;s Ragged Edges\u00a0<\/i>(University of Georgia Press, 2011).<\/p>\n<p>He also has received grants and fellowships from the Andrew W.
