This website does not replace the critical work of academic advising but offers a tool to assist students in their academic planning.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are fortunate that many students want to transfer to UTC, and typically they do very well once they are here,\u201d said Lee Pierce, director of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.utc.edu\/about\/admissions.php\" target=\"_blank\">undergraduate admissions<\/a>. \u201cAnything that we can do to encourage students to enroll in higher education in Tennessee\u2014and of course, at UTC\u2014is a positive step. The Tennessee Transfer Pathways site is a step to make this entire process easier and more student-friendly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tntransferpathway.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tennessee Transfer Pathways<\/a>\u00a0is a collaborative initiative by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission, the Tennessee Board of Regents, the Tennessee Independent Colleges and Universities Association, and the University of Tennessee system.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many students find that transferring from a two-year or other four-year campus to UTC is the right educational move.
