a report.\u00a0\u00a0 In addition to the \u201cSite Logistics\u201d victory, the UTC Construction Management Competition Team also scored the highest of all competing schools in Construction Management Fee, General Conditions Explanation, Professionalism, Time Management, and Price Proposal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is our second year participating in this competition\u2026 and our team has improved its previous year score by more than 50 per cent in every area it has been ranked,\u201d said Dr. Neslihan Alp, UC Foundation Professor and Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies and Research and Department Head of Engineering Management and Technology.<\/p>\n<p>Students who competed on the UTC Construction Management Competition Team included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Paul Brakebill, senior in Construction Management<\/li>\n<li>Christopher Coffey, senior in Construction Management<\/li>\n<li>Calvin Cofield, 2+2 student from Chattanooga State<\/li>\n<li>Lance Geren, junior in Construction Management<\/li>\n<li>Ethan Prow, sophomore in Construction Management<\/li>\n<li>Michael Slowey, then a senior in Construction Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students from UTC who competed in the Shadow Students Competition included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Charles Rhodey, Senior in Engineering Management<\/li>\n<li>Travron Taylor, Junior in Civil Engineering and minor in Construction Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cWe are really proud of our students for their accomplishments!\u201d Alp exclaimed. \u201cThe faculty advisor, Mr. Skip Smith, began teaching as a Lecturer in our Engineering Management &amp; Technology Department in January 2013 and worked really hard to prepare the student team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Aldo McLean, and Dr. Endong Wang also helped prepare the students.<\/p>\n<p>Additional individual and organizations supported this competition by mentoring or with financial support for the UTC Construction Student Team.\u00a0 They include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Roger Tuder, President and CEO at the AGC of East Tennessee<\/li>\n<li>Paul Baggett, Senior Estimator at the DBS Corporation and Adjunct Faculty at UTC<\/li>\n<li>Arch Willingham, Vice President at TU Parks Construction Company and Adjunct Faculty at UTC<\/li>\n<li>Heather Adcox, Adjunct Faculty at UTC<\/li>\n<li>John Straussberger, President at The Strauss Company,
