U.S. News and World Report <\/em>included UTC as one of the top 10 Online Engineering Schools with the Most International Students.<\/p>\n

According to Dr. Neslihan Alp, Interim Dean of the UTC College of Engineering and Computer Science, many of the international students are enrolled in the Online Engineering Management master\u2019s program.<\/p>\n

Alp herself has visited India three times to represent UTC and recruit students.\u00a0 Besides India, international students from Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Iran, Turkey, Nepal, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Germany, and Spain are enrolled in online engineering programs.<\/p>\n

\u201cRecruitment trips, grants, international faculty members’ personal connections abroad, and our online offerings in Engineering Management and Computer Science and Electrical Engineering have helped UTC to attract and recruit many international students into our graduate programs in the College of Engineering and Computer Science,\u201d Alp said.<\/p>\n

Of the graduate students enrolled in the College of Engineering and Computer Science, 18 percent are international students.<\/p>\n

UTC tied with University of Florida for 7th<\/sup> place in the top ten U.S. News and World Report<\/em> list.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn 2013, international students made up about seven percent of the 12,870 students who pursued online engineering degrees at the master’s programs ranked by U.S. News,\u201d according to the U.S. News and World Report<\/em> website.<\/p>\n
