WUTC Christmas Special<\/strong><\/p>\n Join WUTC on Christmas day as they offer their annual holiday broadcast. Here is the schedule for the Christmas Special.<\/p>\n NPR\u2019s\u00a0 Morning Edition<\/em>, 6 AM \u2013 10 AM<\/p>\n Messiah With The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra<\/em>, 10 AM \u2013 12 NOON<\/p>\n Handel\u2019s much adored oratorio, Messiah, returns to Heinz Hall led by Music Director Manfred Honeck and featuring a cast of guest vocalists and the Mendelssohn Choir Of Pittsburgh. This work is a religious story of hope,\u00a0 inspiration and timeless expression.<\/p>\n Fresh Air With Terry Gros<\/em>s, 12 NOON \u2013 1 PM<\/p>\n Living On Earth: Hope For The Holidays<\/em>, 1 PM\u00a0 \u2013 2 PM<\/p>\n This year\u2019s \u201cLiving On Earth\u201d holiday show presents tales from Celtic traditions, an African-American parable, and other stories all centered on the theme of hope.\u00a0 Two characters that listeners will meet in this program include a trickster slave who outwits his master, and a boy who discovers that he\u2019s descended from an enemy tribe.<\/p>\n Christmas Jazz With WUTC\u2019s Ken Dryde<\/em>n, 2 PM \u2013 4 PM<\/p>\n NPR\u2019s All Things Considered<\/em>, 4 PM \u2013 8 PM<\/p>\n Jazz Piano Christmas XXVI<\/em>, 8 PM \u2013 9 PM<\/p>\n NPR\u00a0 music brings you another great concert from Kennedy Center.\u00a0 Pianists Kenny Barron, Fred Hersch, and Carmen Staaf perform their favorite holiday songs in a program hosted by Felix Contreras.<\/p>\n An Afro-Blue Christmas<\/em>, 9 PM \u2013 10 PM<\/p>\n Howard University\u2019s premiere vocal ensemble and special guest pianist Cyrus Chestnut will present a very special holiday concert.\u00a0 The a-cappela group performs a variety of holiday songs including African-American spirituals,\u00a0 jazz and pop tunes, and classical compositions.\u00a0 Hosted by Michele Norris.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Give the Gift of School Spirit<\/strong><\/p>\n Still struggling to find the perfect holiday gift for everyone on your list?
