Fuller is founder and CEO of Chattanooga-based <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usxpress.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">U.S. Xpress<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cMax Fuller is a forward-thinking leader,\u201d said Robert Dooley, Dean of the UTC College of Business. \u201cThe innovations he has developed and implemented at U.S. Xpress have been widely adopted by the transportation industry and he exemplifies the innovative mindset that UTC College of Business graduates display around the world and every day\u2014whether they operate within large corporations, small businesses, or the nonprofit sector. We are so pleased that he has been recognized by AACSB.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The company has received numerous recognitions and awards, including a Smithsonian Innovation Award for its green initiative to become a paperless environment\u2014another first in the trucking industry. Because of his leadership, the company was named one of the Best Big Companies in the U.S. by Forbes magazine in 2007, and it is consistently recognized as one of the top 100 trucking companies in the U.S. In 2012 the company was named Truckload Carrier of the Year, and in that same year Logistics magazine named U.S. Xpress a Top Green Provider.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fuller joins individuals such as the CEO of one of the world\u2019s largest global relief services, a technology pioneer who is working to cure cancer, the founder of a global e-commerce powerhouse, and an enterprising president attributed with reviving an international toy industry favorite. More than 20 industry sectors, from consumer products to healthcare to nonprofits, across 21 countries, are present in this year\u2019s group. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Founded in 1916, AACSB is an association boasting more than 1,450 educational institutions, businesses, and other organizations in 90 countries and territories. The association\u2019s mission is to advance quality management education worldwide through accreditation, thought leadership, and value-added services. As the premier accreditation body for institutions offering undergraduate, master&#8217;s, and doctorate degrees in business and accounting, AACSB offers a wide array of services to the management education industry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For the nomination process, AACSB-accredited schools were asked to recommend notable alumni who have (or are making) an impact in the world.
