{"id":1581,"date":"2009-08-03T13:16:50","date_gmt":"2009-08-03T18:16:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogarchive.utc.edu\/news\/?p=1581"},"modified":"2009-08-05T08:36:28","modified_gmt":"2009-08-05T13:36:28","slug":"international-summer-abroad-trip-explores-accessibility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogarchive.utc.edu\/news\/2009\/08\/international-summer-abroad-trip-explores-accessibility\/","title":{"rendered":"International summer abroad trip explores accessibility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A two-week summer abroad trip to the South Pacific took a group of 33 students and staff to Fiji, New Zealand and Australia, countries known worldwide for their accessibility to those with disabilities, according to Bryon Kluesner, M.S., Ph.D., Adaptive Technology Coordinator, Office for Students with Disabilities.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe student participants learned quickly that cultural accessibility is often more valuable than physical accessibility itself.
