Kathi Weeks, professor of gender, sexuality and feminist studies at Duke University draws from 1970’s critiques of the ideologies of love and romance to develop a critique of the popular literature advice that directs employees to find love and happiness at work.<\/p>\n

Weeks is author of The Problem with Work: Feminism, Marxism, Antiwork Politics and Postwork Imaginaries<\/em><\/a> (Duke University Press, 2011) and Constituting Feminist Subjects<\/em><\/a> (Ithaca: Cornell University, 1998).<\/p>\n
