The 25th annual International Conference on Young Children with Special Needs and their Families, held this year in Albuquerque, N.M., is sponsored by the Council for Exceptional Children\u2019s Division for Early Childhood (DEC). <\/p>\n
The DEC is an international membership organization for those who work with or on behalf of young children with disabilities and other special needs. Its mission is to promote policies and advance evidence-based practices to support the optimal development of young children with special needs. <\/p>\n
McWilliam and colleagues from the University of Florida and Middle Tennessee State University presented a session about improving Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) quality. McWilliam joined Casey to present a session about zone defense scheduling. Casey and Wingate also presented their findings in a session.<\/p>\n
