On Friday, the students came to UTC to present the seven prototypes they\u2019d built.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe simply provided them with desired specifications and operating constraints; the students had the freedom to tackle the problems using any approach they saw fit,\u201d Daniel Loveless says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll seven prototypes were demonstrated and functional. This is remarkable, especially given the short timeframe the students had to work. \u2026 They were clearly prepared and put in their best effort.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_20049\"
