It brings more awareness to our program and we are grateful for the support from the RiverCity Company and the local business community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The RiverCity Company, through its retail initiative, is coordinating the program and will also be selecting two of the participating businesses to receive a complimentary membership into the Mocs Merchant program.  The UTC athletic department is providing decorations for the store fronts along with up to 4 tickets to the game for participating businesses.  UTC student government signed student groups to provide creativity and labor to showcase downtown Chattanooga as a college town.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have had an incredible response from our downtown businesses,\u201d states Cullon Hooks, Retail Director at RiverCity Company, \u201cThey are extremely excited to show their support for the Mocs and show the students how much they are welcomed and valued in the downtown community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ryan Peck, Director of Marketing for the UTC Athletics Department said, \u201cLocal companies play a crucial role in generating hometown support for college athletics.
