Gendered Helping: Exploring the Causes and Consequences of Stereotype-Restricted Prosocial Behavior<\/b><\/p>\n

Dr. Alyssa Croft (University of Arizona) will highlight a new theory of gendered helping behavior – addressing the antecedents and consequences, as well as potential ways to interrupt the stereotypical cycle of helping. Data from preliminary studies will also be presented. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Impact of Negative Emotions on Juror Decisions<\/b><\/p>\n

Drs. Narina Nunez and Kimberly Schweitzer (University of Wyoming) will discuss their research on how negative emotions such as anger, sadness, and disgust affect mock jurors\u2019 decisions. <\/span><\/p>\n
