\"\"The community has stepped up again. The WUTC-FM\/88.1 pledge drive ended a day early after the $165,000 goal was raised for the station’s budget. The money goes toward the cost of regular programming such as NPR’s Morning Edition, All Things Considered<\/em> and Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me,<\/em> local music shows and community outreach.<\/p>\n

The staff at WUTC and UTC administration want to thank everyone who donated. Erlanger Hospital sponsored\u00a0$,1000 for the Chattanooga Area Food Bank during Sack Pack Day and Nooga Paws sponsored $1,000 for McKamey\u00a0Animal Center and the Humane Educational Society during Pet Day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
